Born from the Miles. Built for Every Filipino.

During the pandemic, as more Filipinos turned to running, cycling, and outdoor fitness, one major problem became clear: proper endurance nutrition was either too expensive or out of reach. Imported gels came at a premium, and local options were not available.

Noticing this gap, our founder decided to take action. Frustrated by the lack of affordable, high-quality options, he began developing his own formula. Simple, effective, and designed for performance, which he then shared it with friends, fellow runners, and training partners. The response was overwhelming.

Can beginners use energy gels?

Absolutely! Anyone exercising long enough can take energy gels. If your workout lasts more than 60 minutes, an energy gel can help maintain energy and delay fatigue.

Can I take a gel without water?

To get the most out of your Buzz Fuel energy gel, we recommend taking them with a mouthful of water (150-250ml when available). Water can help support carbohydrate absorption and reduce stomach discomfort over long distances.

How many gels do I need for a marathon?

The general rule is to consume 30-60g of carbohydrates per hour or up to 90g if your gut is trained. Most marathoners will use 4-7 gels, depending on their target finish time and fueling strategy. Always practice your nutrition during training to find out what works best for you.

Does Buzz Fuel contain caffeine?

No. All Buzz Fuel energy gels are caffeine-free
